Backlighting can be used to bring vibrant life to colors, textures, images, and more. Velaria Systems offers an extensive array of options that include a range of fixed color temperatures (CCT) or dynamic tunable white and RGBW options with multiple brightness choices.

Select Your Output Level

The amount of light you require to highlight your design will depend on your selection of membrane and the desired effect you are trying to achieve.

Velaria Systems offers 3 brightness levels to enable any design requirement. While the choice of level will depend on your specific needs, here is a guide to what may work for you.

Darker colored membranes – colors or graphics - with minimal light transmission or those with patterns that require high light levels to deliver suitable contrast

Enhanced

Medium to dark colored membranes or spaces where you want the backlit membranes to act as wayfinding or contribute some illumination

Standard

Light to medium colored membranes where vibrancy is important but contribution to the illumination of the space is not a priority

Select Your Light Color

Lower color temperatures will enhance warm finishes and evoke intimate experiences while higher values will highlight cooler colors and give a sense of action to your environment.

Acoustic Performance
